Climate

The district has extremes of climate. The summer season begins from the month of April and lasts till October, May, June are the hottest months. The maximum and minimum temperatures in these months are about 45 and 30 Centigrade respectively. The winter season lasts from the month of November to March. December, January and February are the coldest months. The maximum and minimum temperature during this period are about 27 and 6 Centigrade respectively. The annual rainfall is about 288.8 millimeters. Winds and dust storms are common during the summer season and sometimes they cause much damage.
